The ‘Bulldog’ is the official registered name of the breed by The Kennel Club (UK) and The American Kennel Club (US). However, the breed is also known as an English Bulldog or a British Bulldog. Neither of these are officially registered names by the kennel clubs and are merely just names of endearment for the bulldogs breed. But whatever you like to call your bulldog it is perfectly acceptable within the bulldog community.
